Where are you?

She cried and cried. She yelled and rolled over in pain. He was both angry and sad because he wished he didn't have to see her tears, but he was angry at his helplessness.

She wished she was numb; that she could feel no pain at all. But he always told her, never to wish for something as dangerous as that. He told her that one of the greatest things in life was to feel.

And today, millions of miles away from her father, staring hopelessly into the sky, she sits, feeling absolutely numb. And she wonders whether he will ever be there, to say the right thing at the right time.
